Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 2, 2026
Blueprint Web Design is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
blueprintdesign.org targets WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance. The site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard.
Measures we take
- Semantic HTML and landmark regions (header, nav, main, footer)
- Sufficient color contrast for text and interactive elements
- Visible keyboard focus indicators on all interactive elements
- Alt text on meaningful images; decorative images marked appropriately
- Respect for the
prefers-reduced-motionsystem setting - Mobile touch targets sized at least 44 × 44 pixels
- Form labels associated with their inputs; clear error messaging
- Logical heading hierarchy (one h1 per page, no skipped levels)
- Page language declared on the
htmlelement
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some content on the site may not be fully accessible. Known issues are tracked internally and addressed on a rolling basis. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please let us know — see "Feedback" below.
